A Motorised damper is used for zoning with a Ducted reverse cycle Air Conditioning System. Depending on the application both low voltage 24v and high voltage systems are available.

Once again you have different quality products available on the market. There are a lot of plastic dampers in the market place in my opinion I prefer the metal as I believe stronger and more robust.
